Material
One straight Chinese radish

Equipment
Sharp-pointed knife
Carving knife
Small wooden pins

Instructions

1. Wash the Chinese radish, cut off both ends, and use the central part.
2. Cut lengthwise to obtain thin slices. Fold each one in half lengthwise.

3. Cut slits about 1 ½ cms. long down the length of the fold.

4. Roll up these fringed strips one after another to make a bloom of the required size, and secure with wooden pins.
