Prepared as below (cabbage salad)
1 small red cabbage cut in the same way as described
3 large carrots grated and sprinkled with lemon juice
Method
Put all the ingredients into a salad bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice and oil (mixed) or oil and vinegar (mixed). For garnish:- Cut radish into small pieces and place around the salad for an attractive presentation.
Cabbage Salad (Lachanosaláta)
1 portion (150 grms), calories: 50. Portions: 8-10 1 firm cabbage with small stem Vinegar and oil or oil and lemon salt
With a very sharp knife or with a special vegetable grater, cut the cabbage very finely. Salt and allow to stand for a while. Then serve in a deep salad bowl with either the oil and lemon juice poured over, or the vinegar and oil.
