Fried Plantains
Ingredients
3 large ripe plantains
Vegetable oil

Method
Peel plantains and slice into thin rounds. In a large frying pan, heat ¼ inch oil over medium-high heat for 4 to 5 minutes. Add plantain slices and fry for 4 to 5 minutes or until golden brown on both sides.
Remove from oil with slotted spoon and drain on paper towel.
