Snowball

Ingredients

8 scoops of vanilla ice cream
120ml/4fl oz/½ cup advocaat
60ml/4 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice
Freshly grated nutmeg
About 300ml/½ pint/1½ cups chilled lemonade

Method

Put half the vanilla ice cream in a food processor or blender and add the advocaat and the lime juice, with plenty of freshly grated nutmeg. Process the mixture briefly until well combined.

Scoop the remaining ice cream into four short glasses or tumblers. Spoon over the advocaat mixture and top up the glasses with lemonade. Sprinkle with more nutmeg and serve immediately.
