Hot-Cold Chocolate Float
Ingredients
115g/4oz plain (semisweet) chocolate
250ml/8fl oz/1 cup milk
15ml/1 tbsp caster (superfine) sugar
4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
4 scoops of dark chocolate ice cream
Whipped cream and chocolate curls, to serve

Method
Break the chocolate into pieces and place in a pan. Add the milk and sugar and heat gently, stirring with a wooden spoon until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth.
Place two scoops of each type of ice cream alternately in two tall heatproof glasses. Pour the chocolate milk over and around the ice cream. Top with lightly whipped cream and chocolate curls and serve immediately.
