Method
Separate the ribs and arrange in a 2 quart (8 x 8 inch) heat resistant dish, putting the larger pieces round the edge. Cover and cook on HIGH for 12 minutes until partially cooked.
Rearrange the ribs halfway through the cooking time. Meanwhile combine all the remaining ingredients in a ½ pint (1 cup) glass measuring jug. Remove the ribs from the oven and drain.
Cook the sauce uncovered on HIGH for 1-1½ minutes until the mixture boils. Stir once during cooking.
Dip each rib in the sauce to coat. Cool and refrigerate until ready to grill or fry. Barbecue over hot coals for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until the ribs are browned and heated through.
Spare ribs may also be cooked in a preheated browning skillet.
