Nettle Beer 2
Ingredients
1 gallon fresh young nettle tops
½ lb. malt extract
1 oz. hops
½ oz. ginger
1 gallon water
½ lb. white sugar
2 oz. sarsaparilla
Yeast
Method
Boil all the ingredients (except the sugar and yeast) for one hour, keeping the volume constant with added water, and then strain over the sugar in a bowl. Stir vigorously and when cool add the yeast. Continue as directed for Nettle Beer 1.
