Baked Apples (Slow Cooker)

Ingredients

6 large cooking apples
cup orange juice
2 teaspoon grated orange rind
1 teaspoon lemon rind grated
cup rose wine
teaspoon cinnamon
cup brown sugar
Whipped cream


Method

Remove core from apples and place in slow cooker. Mix together all other ingredients except whipped cream. Pour over apples. Cover pot and cook on low for about 3 ½ hours or until apples are tender. Cool and serve with whipped cream.
