Vanilla Sorbet
This is a basic recipe. You may add other flavourings, fruit purées or nuts according to taste
Ingredients
Makes about 1 quart
½ cup superfine sugar
3 cups skimmed milk
6 tablespoons non-fat dry milk
1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
Method
Heat milk, sugar and non-fat dry milk in saucepan, stirring until the sugar and dry milk are dissolved. Cool thoroughly. Stir in the vanilla. Pour the mixture into the bowl of the ice cream machine and freeze.
