Dark Pumpernickel Bread
Ingredients
Small *medium-large loaf
⅔ cup water *1 cup-1 ⅓ cups
1 ⅓ tablespoons vegetable oil *2 tablespoon - 2 ⅔ tablespoon
2 tablespoons molasses *3 tablespoon - ¼ cup
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa *1 ½ tablespoon - 2 tablespoon
2 teaspoons brown sugar *1 tablespoon - 1 ⅓ tablespoon
⅔ teaspoon instant coffee granules *1 teaspoons - 1 ⅓ teaspoons
⅔ teaspoon salt *1 teaspoons - 1 ⅓ teaspoons
1 ¼ teaspoons caraway seeds *2 teaspoons - 2 ½ teaspoons
½ cup rye flour * ¾ cup - 1 cup
½ cup whole wheat flour * ¾ cup - 1 cup
1 cup bread flour *1 ½ cups - 2 cups
1 teaspoon yeast *1 ½ teaspoons - 2 ½ teaspoons
Method
Add ingredients as given in manufacturer’s instructions. Use whole wheat setting if available, otherwise use the regular white bread Cycle.
