Fresh Herb Bread
Ingredients
1 ½ lb loaf
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoon margarine or butter
3 cup bread flour
2 teaspoon chopped fresh sage leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano leaves
2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
3 tablespoon dry milk
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 ½ teaspoon yeast
2 lb loaf
1 ½ cup water
2 tablespoon butter or margarine
4 ¼ cups bread flour
2 teaspoons chopped fresh sage leaves
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoons chopped fresh basil leaves
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano leaves
2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme leaves
¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
¼ cup dry milk
2 tablespoon sugar
1 ½ teaspoons salt
1 ¼ teaspoons yeast
Method
Place on the ingredients in the bread machine and select basic white cycle. Use medium or light crust colour.
It is recommended to use a bread pan with 9 cups or larger for the 1 ½ pound loaf. Yeast amount is correct though proportionately less than called for in the smaller loaf.
