Beetroot Beer

Ingredients

1 lb. beetroot
1 breakfast cup white sugar
1 pint stout


Method

Wash the beetroot and slice into a bowl. Sprinkle on the sugar and leave twenty-four hours. Strain, add the stout, bottle, cork and tie down. Ready after seven to fourteen days.
