Simple Soap Base
Ingredients
1 lb glycerine soap and/or castille soap flakes
¼ oz (7.5 ml) essential oil (see essential oil blend)
1 cup purified water
½ cup herbal tea or hydrosol
Method
Melt glycerine in double boiler herbal infusion or hydrosol. Let cool slightly...it needs to be pourable. Add essential oil. Stir well. Pour into moulds or saran wrap-lined box. Let harden, cut into bars. Smooth rough spots with knife.
