Ingredients

120g/4oz/1 cup small pasta rings or other small soup pasta
430ml/ ¾ pint/1½ cups boiling water
60g/2oz/ ½ cup sultanas/golden raisins
30ml/2 tablespoons golden syrup
Grated zest of 1 orange
410g/14½ oz can evaporated milk
2.5ml/ ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method

Put the pasta and water in a large bowl which is big enough to allow for boiling (about 1½ litres/3 pints/6 cups), cover and cook on HIGH for 8-10 minutes until the pasta is tender.

 

Stir in the remaining ingredients, reserving a little zest for decorating. Cook, uncovered, on HIGH for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it is hot and creamy. Serve decorated with orange zest.
