Celery Cheese Dip With Chervil
Ingredients
1 stick celery, finely chopped
15g/ ½ oz / 1 tablespoon butter
60g/ 2 oz / ½ cup Port Salut or St. Paulin cheese, grated
140ml/ ¼ pint/ ½ cup natural yogurt
1 slice of ham, finely chopped
15ml/ 1 tablespoon chopped chervil

Serves: 6
Method
Put the celery and the butter in a small bowl and cook, uncovered, on HIGH for 3-4 minutes until tender but still slightly crunchy. Add the cheese and cook on HIGH for 2-4 minutes until melted, stirring frequently. Stir in the yogurt, chervil and ham. Chill thoroughly. Serve with sticks of raw vegetables or strips of pitta bread.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Microwave cooking time: 5-7 minutes
