Hot Dog Sauce
Ingredients
1 tbsp. brown sugar
¼ tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. lemon juice or vinegar
1 large chopped onion
¼ green pepper, chopped
3 lb. ground beef
½ cup oil
1 large can tomato sauce
1 cup catsup/ketchup or chilli sauce
4 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chilli powder
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. mustard seed
Method
Sauté onion, green pepper and beef until colour changes; add remaining ingredients. Simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour in 3-quart electric saucepan.
