Aunt Carol’s July 4th Kosher Coleslaw
Ingredients
2 cups shredded red cabbage
2 cups shredded cabbage
2 carrots, shredded
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
½ cup mayonnaise
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Method
Place cabbage and carrots in a non-reactive mixing bowl. Add salt, pepper, mayonnaise, lemon juice and garlic powder. Mix well.
