Casera Sauce
Ingredients
Makes about 2 cups of sauce
1 ½ cups tomatoes, finely chopped
½ cup onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, finely chopped
1 jalapeño chilli; canned, seeded and finely chopped
½ teaspoon jalapeño chilli liquid
1 tablespoon cilantro; fresh, snipped fine
1 tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon oregano leaves, dried
1 ½ teaspoons vegetable oil
Method
Mix all ingredients in glass or plastic bowl.
Cover and refrigerate up to 7 days.
