Caramel Puff Bites
Ingredients
2 sheets frozen puff pastry
1 egg
1 tablespoon water
32 caramels

Method
Thaw the pastry at room temperature for 30 minutes. Beat the egg and water together in a bowl. Unfold the pastry on a floured work surface. Roll each pastry sheet into a 12-inch square and cut each square into sixteen 3-inch squares. Place a caramel in the center of each square. Brush the edges of the squares with the egg mixture. Bring the corners of the squares to the center to enclose the caramel and press the edges to seal. Arrange on baking sheets. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to d wire rack and let cool for 10 minutes.
