Fried Sandwiches
Ingredients
½ loaf bread, sliced, crust removed
450 ml/15 fl oz milk
200 g/7 oz sliced ham, e.g. York
2 eggs, beaten
Oil for frying

Serves: 4
Method
Cut each bread slice in half diagonally.
Soak in the milk, then sandwich together with the ham. Coat in beaten egg and fry in very hot oil.
