Grilled Tuna With American Black Walnut Compound Butter
Ingredients
4 X 8 ounce tuna steaks
Salt and black pepper, freshly ground
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 tablespoons American Black Walnut Compound Butter - see recipe
Method
Remove compound butter from the refrigerator or freezer and let it come to a temperature in which it is easily sliced into one ounce patties. Reserve four pieces in the refrigerator for the recipe and return the remainder to storage. Prepare tuna steaks for grilling by rubbing with olive oil and seasoning with salt and black pepper. Grill for 2 minutes on one side and turn, place compound butter on top of the tuna steak. Continue cooking until tuna is medium rare. Serve immediately.
