Turkey Snacks With Dip
Ingredients
4 oz (125 g) skinless boneless turkey breast
¼ tsp (1 ml) dried thyme
Salt
¼ tsp (1 ml) curry powder
¼ tsp (1 ml) sweet paprika
1 small onion
¼ apple, peeled
1 tbsp (15 ml) oil
1 tsp (5 ml) lemon juice
5 to 6 fresh basil leaves
⅔ cup (150 ml/150 g) yogurt
Sugar
¼ cucumber
6 cherry tomatoes

Method
Dice the turkey into 12 medium cubes. Combine thyme, salt to taste, curry powder and paprika, and use this to season the meat.
Finely dice the onion and apple. Lightly sauce in hot oil on low heat for 5 minutes.
Add the turkey and brown on all sides. Cook, covered, on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside to cool.
Cut or tear the basil into thin strips. Stir apple, onion, lemon juice and basil into the yogurt. Season with salt and a little sugar.
Peel the cucumber, slice lengthwise and cut into 12 pieces. Halve the tomatoes. Slide 1 piece of diced turkey, 1 piece of cucumber and 1 tomato half onto each of 12 small wooden skewers. Arrange on top of the yogurt sauce.
Per serving:- approx. 160 calories 17 g protein, 7 g fat, 7 g carbohydrates
