Clam Dip


1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
teaspoon garlic powder
teaspoon coarse salt
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 drops (or more) Tabasco sauce or other hot pepper sauce
1 can (10 ounces) minced clams, drained


Serves: 8


Combine all the ingredients except the clams in a medium bowl and blend until smooth. Add the clams and blend well. The clam dip can be served immediately or kept in a covered dish in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight. Bring to room temperature before serv­ing. Serve with an assortment of low-carbohydrate veggies or crackers.
