Apple-Quark Yogurt
Ingredients
1 large apple
1 cup (250 ml/250 g) low-fat quark or puréed cottage cheese
3 to 4 tbsp (45 to 60 ml) mineral water Juice of ½ lemon or lime
1 tsp (5 ml) vanilla sugar
⅓ cup (75 ml) low-fat yogurt
1 tbsp (15 ml) chopped almonds

Method
Peel, core and dice the apple. In a small saucepan, cover the apple with a little water and cook on low heat until tender.
Combine quark, mineral water, lemon juice and vanilla sugar. Stir until smooth.
Fold the yogurt into the quark mixture and spoon into two dessert dishes. Top with the apple, sprinkle with almonds and serve.
TIPS:- You can omit the lemon juice and season the quark with ground cinnamon. And in place of an apple, choose another fresh fruit or grate the apple and combine it with the quark.
