Banana Nutella Bites
Ingredients
2 tablespoons heavy cream
3 tablespoons Nutella spread
1 ounce semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, chopped
3 bananas
6 spring roll wrappers
1 egg, lightly beaten
Vegetable oil
Confectioners' sugar

Method
Bring the cream to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove from the heat and stir in the Nutella and chocolate. Stir until blended.
Cut each banana crosswise into halves. Cut each half horizontally into halves. Spread a heaping tablespoon of the chocolate mixture on the cut side of 1 banana quarter. Top with another banana quarter to make a sandwich. Place the prepared banana sandwich 1 inch from the edge on a spring roll wrapper. Roll to enclose the banana. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the banana. Brush some of the egg over the open end of the wrapper and press to seal. Repeat the process with the remaining bananas, chocolate mixture, wrappers and egg.
Heat 2 inches of oil to 350 degrees in a deep skillet. Fry 3 to 4 rolls at a time for 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
FOR SWEET TREATS, CUT PUFF PASTRY SHEETS INTO SMALL TRIANGLES. BRUSH WITH BUTTER AND SPRINKLE WITH CINNAMON-SUGAR, CHOCOLATE CHIPS AND CHOPPED WALNUTS. ROLL UP EACH TRIANGLE TO FORM A CRESCENT. BRUSH WITH BEATEN EGG. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 10 TO 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
