Avocado-Caper Spread

Pistachios add texture as well as flavor to this delicate avocado spread.

Ingredients

½ medium avocado, peeled
½ cup (115 g) nonfat cream cheese
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons chopped pistachios
2 teaspoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons capers


Method

Mash avocado and cream cheese together until blended; stir in remaining ingredients. Serve on toasted bagels or pita bread triangles.
