Pineapple Sherbet

Buttermilk and pineapple make a tangy, pleasing combination in this tropical treat.

Ingredients

2 cups (500 ml) reduced-fat buttermilk
1 (8-ounce/230-g) can juice-packed pineapple chunks
2 teaspoons rum flavoring
¼ cup (55 g) sugar

Details

Serves: 8


Method

Combine all ingredients, including pineapple juice, in a food processor or blender; process until well blended. Pour into freezer canister. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
