Swiss Cheese Meatloaf

Add a tasty and cheesy twist to your traditional meatloaf recipe for a new and more satisfying dinner meal. Serve with a salad on the side and garlic bread.


1 pound ground beef
1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
16 buttery crackers, crushed
2 eggs
onion, chopped
2 tsp minced garlic
tsp rubbed sage
tsp salt
tsp black pepper

Makes: 1 - 3x7-inch meatloaf


1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.

2. Grease a 3x7-inch loaf pan with butter or olive oil.

3. Whisk the eggs along with the crushed crackers, garlic, onion, salt and pepper.

4. Set aside about 3 tbsp of the cheese.

5. Stir the rest in the egg mixture.

6. Add the ground beef and mix to combine well.

7. Transfer the mixture in the loaf pan.

8. Bake for about 1 hour.

9. Sprinkle the meatloaf with 3 tbsp of Swiss cheese.

10. Bake for additional 2 minutes, until melted.

11. Let rest a couple of minutes before cutting.
