Tart Village Soup
Kvasivka Selians


2 cups meat stock beef or pork
2 cups sauerkraut juice
1 egg large
1 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons flour
1 teaspoon dill freshly chopped
cup potatoes, mashed
Rye bread croutons


Bring stock to a boil & add sauerkraut juice. Mix in sour cream, flour & egg, add a small portion of the hot stock. Mix then add to the pot & simmer for 3 minutes. Add the mashed potatoes and sprinkle with the dill.

Serve with the rye bread croutons sprinkled over the soup.
