Red Fitness Drink
Ingredients
⅔ cup (150 ml/100 g) strawberries
⅔ cup (150 ml/100 g) watermelon
Mineral water
¼ tsp (1 ml) freshly grated
Ginger or ground cinnamon
½ lemon (organic preferred)
Liquid sweetener
4 ice cubes

Method
Hull and wash strawberries and place in a blender or food processor.
Remove seeds, chop the watermelon and add it to the strawberries. Add the ginger and enough mineral water to reach 1⅔ cups (400 ml) Purée.
Cut 2 thin slices from the lemon and set aside. Grate a pinch of lemon zest from the remainder of the lemon and squeeze out 2 to 3 tsp (10 to 15 ml) juice.
Season the drink with the lemon zest, lemon juice and 3 to 4 dashes of liquid sweetener.
Place 2 ice cubes in a glass and pour in the drink. Cut reserved lemon slices to the center and garnish the rim of each glass.
