Ingredients
75g/3oz/6 tbsp butter
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
30ml/2 tbsp caster (superfine) sugar
4 slices bread
Prepared fresh fruit (optional)

Method
1. Cream the butter with the cinnamon and half the sugar.
2. Toast the bread on both sides. Spread with the butter and sprinkle with a little extra sugar. Serve at once, with pieces of fresh fruit, if you like.
