Honey-Glazed Pork Chops

4 tablespoons lemon juice
2 tablespoons clear honey
Salt and pepper
4 pork chops, about 175 g/ 6 oz each
Chopped fresh sage


Serves: 4


Heat the grill or barbecue. Mix together the lemon juice, honey, salt and pepper. Brush the pork chops with the mixture and leave to stand for 15-20 minutes. Grill the chops over high heat for 4-5 minutes. Turn down the heat or raise the barbecue grid and continue to cook for a further 5 minutes. Turn the chops over, taking care not to pierce the meat, and turn the heat up once again. After a few minutes turn down the heat and finish cooking. Season with salt and sprinkle some sage over the chops. Serve at once.
